With my oldest daughter headed off to college in a few weeks, I think this information from credit guru Bill Hardekopf is interesting and useful! Too many of today’s young people don’t have a clue about ANYTHING to do with finances. It seems they think Macbooks, dorm stuff and Chick-fil-a are all FREE.

Take the time toshare this with the teens and young adultsin your family. It’s information that can impact the rest of their lives!

Bill Hardekopf's advice is excellent; the same cannot be said of this article. If your kids don't know anything about finances and think that computers are free (and that Chick-fil-a actually constituted food), then look no further than the parents that taught them these values. Leave the "kids these days" attitude at the door, please; it's silly and illogical.
