Haven’t been to confession in awhile? There’s an APP for that!

Yes, really. Let’s face it. No one really enjoys going to confession. My Catholic friends say it’s tough to admit out loud to another person all of the things they’ve done wrong. Now for just $1.99 from iTunes, there’s "Confession: A Roman Catholic App." It’s reportedly sanctioned by the Catholic Church in an effort to help some who haven’t been in a LONG time get back to the Sacrament. Who would have thought the Catholic church would be so 21st Century? But there IS a catch!

What other ways can churches use digital technology to engage us? Can you think of an APP for that? But I DON’T think this means you can use smart phones in the middle of the sermon – even if it’s to keep from falling asleep!
