What does your APP say about you?

I am about as far as you can get from being a “techie.” Just ask our IT staff! There is little I can do with my computer without calling them for help. Same goes for my relatively new DROID Smartphone. Without my teenaged daughters and Jason-- the incredibly patient salesman at the Costco phone sales kiosk-- I would barely be able to get beyond turning it on.

Despite that, I do have a few apps that I’ve downloaded-- Pandora, Vlingo, Chomp-- that I really like.(OK-- Jason told me about them! I didn’t find them on my own!) But what do the app companies get out of it? INFORMATION! I think most of us realize when we use those apps-- we give up some privacy, but to what extent?
