There is something wrong with the way that Food Lion stocks the stores. I chase down the ad specials and when I get there the shelves are empty. They produce good ads, but they do not deliver the goods.

glad to see it. there are 8 Food Lions and 2 Harris-Teeters
between me and the closest Walmart. i can save gas and $ by
going to FL. trivia question: what do native NC residents
    call Harris-Teeter? Teeters.

I shop at Walmart too. I got tired of going to Foodlion with their weekly specials ad from the newspaper and finding big empty gaps on the shelves where the specials had been. Clerks only said they would restock items next day when the truck came in. And they always ask you to show your MVP tag. Walmart does none of those song and dance sales tricks. I think they just try to deliver the lowest prices and that's why we have shopped there for years now.
