55-year-old Fayetteville man dies after car crashes into tree
A 55-year-old man died early Saturday morning when he crashed his vehicle into a tree in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A 55-year-old man died early Saturday morning when he crashed his vehicle into a tree in Fayetteville.
Herbert Lee McMillan, of Sierra Court, Fayetteville, was driving a 2005 Ford sedan on Yadkin Road toward Lake Valley Drive when he ran off the road and hit the tree. McMillan was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
The crash briefly closed Yadkin Road between Skibo Road and Lake Valley drive, but the road reopened around dawn.
