54-year-old Vass man charged with rape
A 54-year-old Vass man was arrested on Wednesday and charged with raping a 19-year-old woman.

VASS, N.C. — A 54-year-old Vass man was arrested on Wednesday and charged with raping a 19-year-old woman.
Robert Lewis McLeod, of 230 McLeod Street, was charged with felony first-degree forcible rape, according to the Moore County Sheriff's Office. He was given a $250,000 secured bond.
McLeod's first court appearance is scheduled for May 24.
