43 tv shows that just got canceled

Posted May 17

It’s that time of year again-when network executives make the decision about which shows to cancel and which to renew for the upcoming season. This year, 43 shows from various networks got the axe-or simply came to the end of the series, as in the case of shows like “Girls” and “Vampire Diaries.”

On the plus side, this makes room for new TV shows to take their place. Here’s what will no longer be on the airwaves when fall TV returns.

1. “2 Broke Girls,” CBS with Kat Dennings and Beth Behr

2. “American Crime,” ABC with Connor Jessup, Clayton Cardenas, and Richard Cabral

3. “APB,” from Fox with Justin Kirk and Caitlin Stacey

4. “Bones,” Fox with Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz

5. “Bates Motel,” A&E with Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore

6. “The Blacklist: Redemption,” NBC with Ryan Eggold and Famke Janssen

7. “Bloodline,” Netflix with Kyle Chandler and Linda Cardellini

8. “Black Sails,” STARZ with Toby Stephens

8. “The Catch,” ABC with Mireille Enos

9. “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,” CBS with Gary Sinise

10. “Doubt,” CBS with Katherine Heigl and Laverne Cox

11. “Dr. Ken,” ABC with Ken Jeong

12. “Emerald City,” NBC with Oliver Jackson Cohen and Adria Arjona

13. “Eyewitness,” USA with James Paxton and Tyler Young

14. “Frequency,” The CW with Peyton List
