4 arrested after series of 'purse-snatchings' at Raleigh mall

Four men have been arrested and charged after a string of purse-snatching incidents occurred over the weekend at the Triangle Town Center mall.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Four men have been arrested and charged after a string of purse-snatching incidents occurred over the weekend at the Triangle Town Center mall.

According to officials with the Raleigh Police Department, the incidents all occurred between Thursday and Saturday. Police said Tyheim Battle, 17; Keiontre Jawshawn Brooks, 18; and Brian Anthony Strickland, 17, were charged with larceny from person, aiding and abetting and conspiracy to commit felony larceny. ​Another man, Garrett Jovante Batcheler, 17, was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
