A man died in a shooting in Sanford Thursday night

<b>SANFORD, N.C.</b> — A 30-year-old man was killed Thursday in a shooting in Sanford.

Sanford Police arrived at Harbours Car Wash at 309 W. Makepeace St. around 1 p.m. to find a man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Dirk Anthony Lequia, of Florida, was taken to Central Carolina Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities said the case is under investigation but appears to be drug related.
