RALEIGH, N.C. — A shooting in the parking lot of a Raleigh nightspot left three people hospitalized on Sunday.

Police said an altercation led to the shooting at around 2:30 a.m. at La Rosa Linda restaurant on New Bern Avenue. Officers responding to calls found three wounded people lying in the parking lot.

All three shooting victims were transported to WakeMed. One was listed in critical condition on Sunday morning, but police said they expected the person to live. The other two people were listed in stable condition.

Police said they do not have any suspects in custody and were continuing to investigate.

Another shooting occurred at the restaurant in 2005. Officer Michelle Peele was working off-duty security when, she said, Nyles Arrington tried to steal her personal vehicle and drove right toward her. She fired her weapon, killing Arrington. Peele was not indicted, but the Raleigh Police Department fired her.
