3 Suspects Caught After Police Pursuit

— Johnston County authorities arrested three people after a brief chase through Selma late Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities said officers tried to make a traffic stop within Selma town limits, but the driver kept going.

The pursuit, at a speed of about 50 mph, ended on West Stallings Road in Clayton, where police arrested the car’s occupants after they jumped from the vehicle and ran.

The names of those arrested were not immediately released, and authorities did not give further details about the incident.

    What other information do you need!?!? They tried to stop the driver for a traffic violation obviously. That's all the information WRAL was given, so that's all the information you get! Get over yourselves.

    It's not the station's fault the police didn't disclose explicit details.
