3 students injured after school bus crash in Raleigh

Wake County Public School System spokeswoman Lisa Luten said about 45 students from Vernon Malone High School and Southeast High School were on board the bus when it collided with a Ford F150 near the intersection of West Millbrook Road and Leadmine Road just after 3 p.m.

— Three students were taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a crash between a school bus and a truck in Raleigh.

Wake County Public School System spokeswoman Lisa Luten said about 45 students from Vernon Malone High School and Southeast High School were on board the bus when it collided with a Ford F150 near the intersection of West Millbrook Road and Lead Mine Road just after 3 p.m.

The three students were being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The front end of the bus sustained some damage.
