<b>CRESTON, N.C.</b> — WBTV reported three people were injured Monday in an explosion at an ambulance manufacturing plant in Ashe County.

Emergency crews were called to the American Emergency Vehicles plant, on American Way in Creston, just before noon.

Emergency crews say the explosion happened in the paint shop of the plant.
