Monday

Flash Chorus ft. Ed Sheeran - Sing "Shape of You" along with other Sheeran fans at Motorco in Durham tonight. All ages are welcome to join in this karaoke-style sing along event.

An Evening with David Sedaris - See the comedian perform tonight at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
Hayes Barton Restaurant Week - Restaurants, cafes and bars from Five Points, Oberlin Village and Glenwood Village are teaming up to fight hunger Oct. 23 through Oct. 27. Ten percent of sales will be donated to Interfaith Food Shuttle.
Pinecone Bluegrass Jam - Imurj hosts this open-to-all jam session for new and expert artists.

Tuesday

Sitti Spooky Cinema - Enter a costume contest and snack on complimentary popcorn and pumpkin hummus during this holiday party followed by a showing of Ghostbusters at 7 p.m.
Toadies - See the alternative rock band at Motorco tonight.

Music on Market - This free weekly music series focuses on local art, music and vendors in the renovated Market Plaza in the heart of downtown Raleigh.
Masquerade Ball for a Cause - Proceeds from this event at City Club Raleigh will be used for materials and supplies to create crochet hats for children struggling with serious childhood illnesses at Duke and other local children's hospitals.
Good Music Fest - This festival at Pinhook features five bands. Admission before 8 p.m. is free.
Ponysaurus Beer Dinner - Local 22 Kitchen & Bar hosts this dinner featuring local brews.

Thursday

Hush Hush: Secret Brew - Beer Study Durham is the place for late-night laughs and true revelations as audiences anonymously share a secret they never thought they'd say out loud.
King Crimson - The English rock band plays the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
An Evening With Edgar Allan Poe - William Peace Theatre delves into the dark imagination of one of America’s foremost authors Oct. 26 to 29 in the parlor of the university’s main building.
Peachy Keen Fall Fashion Show - Doors to the Cary boutique open at 7 p.m. with a cocktail hour featuring live jazz music, heavy hors d'oeuvres, plenty of refreshments, a silent auction and more. The fall fashion show will follow.
Portugal. The Man - The American rock band from Wasilla, Alaska plays The Ritz tonight.

Friday

Stranger Things 2 Party - Big Boss Brewing Company is hosting a party to celebrate the biggest night on Netflix with five new beers and a screening of the show.
Zombiepalooza at The Cary Theater - Enjoy screenings of 14 local filmmakers’ own zombie films, a costume contest and a free screening of George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead all in one night outside the theater in downtown Cary.
