20-year-old injured in Holly Springs shooting; Angier woman charged

Holly Springs, N.C. — A 22-year-old Angier woman has been charged in connection with an accidental shooting that sent a 20-year-old man to the hospital, Holly Springs police said.
Shebria Kersey is charged with discharging a firearm in the city limits and obstructing and delaying officers in connection with a shooting reported Monday afternoon in the 900 block of West Holly Springs Road.
Cameraon Jaquan Snellings, also of Angier, was taken to WakeMed following the shooting and was in serious condition Monday evening, police said.
Kersey was in the Wake County jail Tuesday morning.
Holly Springs police say she also had outstanding warrants on charges of sale and delivery of cocaine, assault and battery, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
