2 students dead after shooting near Greensboro university

Two students, ages 19 and 21, died early Sunday morning after shots were fired at a party near the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two students died early Sunday morning after shots were fired at a party near the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

Around 2 a.m., officers with the Greensboro Police Department responded to a shooting at a large party near the school at Campus Green Apartments, located at 911 Circle Drive.

Officials say 19-year-old Alisia Dieudonne and 21-year-old Amhad Campbell were injured in the shooting. The students died later at a hospital as a result of their injures.

The investigation is ongoing.
