2 shot, 2 caught in attempted robbery

Police chased and caught two suspects in an attempted robbery in which two people were shot early Monday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police chased and caught two suspects in an attempted robbery in which two people were shot early Monday.

The attempted robbery occurred in a parking lot across from the Sin City nightclub in the 400 block of Davie Street at about 2:30 a.m. Two victims were shot during the incident, police said.

Officers chased two suspects on foot and apprehended them at South Dawson and West Cabarrus streets.

Quentin Nathaniel Holloway, 22, of Morehead Road in Durham, has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a concealed weapon by a convicted felon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and armed robbery. Todd Forbes, 29, of Cornwallis Road in Durham, has been charged with armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Both men were being held Monday in the Wake County Jail on $500,000 bonds.

Brandon Boone and Jason Faison were both shot in the leg in the attempted robbery. They were treated at WakeMed and released.
