— The two men who were shot at an apartment in the McDougald Terrace neighborhood in Durham Thursday night could have been shooting at one another, police said.

Durham police officers responded just after 10:30 p.m. to 24 B Ridgeway Ave. in reference to a gunshot wound. Officers found a man inside the apartment who had been shot in his left side and both legs.

The man was taken to Duke University Hospital with serious injuries.

A second man with two gunshot wounds to his back walked into the hospital a few minutes before 11 p.m., according to Durham police. Police believe he was also shot during the incident on Ridgeway Avenue.

Neither man was identified.

It would be nice, Sean, if we could generally hold police to a higher standard than criminals. If you don't think highly enough of the police to do so, then we know who /really/ hates the police.

Same place that Durham police were put under the microscope for shooting a man that pulled a gun on them when they went to arrest him but where's all the outrage over this shooting like the outrage over the last one? All you hear are crickets...
