2 charged in connection to Apex BB gun shooting

Police charged two people with shooting students on the Apex high school track team with a BB gun.

APEX, N.C. — Police charged two people with shooting students on the Apex high school track team with a BB gun.

Christian Charles Tucker, 20, of Apex, and Brandon Isaac Andrade, 16, of Cary, were charged with assault inflicting serious injury and discharge of firearms, air rifles, bows, according to online arrest reports.

Apex police confirmed the connection between the charges and the incident.

Police were searching for the suspects after three reports of BB gun shootings in the area.
