Monday

Say Anything - The Los Angeles, California rock band will play Cat's Cradle at 7:30 p.m.
Bingo at Raleigh Brewing - The reoccurring game starts at 6 p.m.!

Flash Chorus - Sing The Eurythmics and The Shins tonight at Motorco! This family-friendly event features a practice session followed by a group sing-along. Tickets are $10 day of.
Cooking for a Classic - The fun dinner competition starts tonight at 1705 East, an event venue in Raleigh. Guests will enjoy a six-course meal prepared by two chefs and enjoy voting for their favorite competitor. All proceeds go to help children at the Lucy Daniels Center. Round One dinners continue through Thursday.

Tuesday

Trivia - Nickelpoint Brewing hosts a weekly trivia night at 7 p.m.

Sono Wine & Sake Social - The downtown Raleigh cafe welcomes guests from 5 to 6:30 weekly on Tuesday nights for complimentary sushi and $10 sake tastings. Walk-in guests are welcome, as are reservations.
Mazes & Brain Games - This new exhibition at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences asks visitors to maneuver their way through a mind-boggling collection of mind-bending adventures, 3D puzzles and full-body games. Mazes winds its way over 6,500 square feet with more than 60 puzzling experiences that inspire exploration and ingenuity. Exhibition hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Wednesday

Hush Hush: Comedy Based on Secrets - Each Wednesday, patrons at Fullsteam Brewery add their anonymous confessions into our bucket of truth. At 8 p.m. ,a cast of improv all-stars reads those aloud and turn one person's wild shame into everyone's party. This event is free.
Winter Seafood Jubilee Dinner - This five-course dinner will feature a raw bar and wine pairings at Union Camp Collective, an event space and Vintage & Antique Shop in downtown Raleigh. A portion of proceeds will benefit NC Catch.
Open Mic Night - The event starts at Beyu Cafe at 7 p.m.

Thursday

Breakfast for Dinner - This feast at Trophy Tap + Table features cereal-inspired cookies, croque madame, a huge mimosa and waffle bar and more. The feast runs from 4 to 10 p.m.

Take Me to the River - Memphis musicians William Bell, Bobby Rush, and Don Bryant are three of this country's great elder statesmen of soul music. See them at the Carolina Theatre of Durham at 8 p.m.
Martin Luther King: An Interpretation - This original and thought-provoking one-man show is an interpretation of the many facets of Martin Luther King, Jr. The engaging performance starts at 7 p.m. at the Carrboro Arts Center.
What We're Up Against - This Raleigh Little Theatre production is an explosive and hilarious look at the complicated battle of the sexes raging across Cubicle Land -- a funny, yet insightful, view of what it means to be female in a male-dominated career and one woman's response when she tires of slamming into the glass ceiling. Shows continue through Jan. 28.

Friday

Dr. Bacon - Asheville's most rocking party-funk band returns to the Bullpen.
John Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous - The comedian will perform at DPAC tonight.
Makeup and Mimosas - Join Blown Away, a blow dry bar at North Hills, for an evening of drinks, demos and a complimentary lip bar from 7 to 9 p.m.

Winter Wonderland - Bond Park in Cary will be transformed into a snowy sledding hill for two days this weekend.
Candle Making Party at Durty Bull Brewing - This class, taught by Brandy's Soy Candles, provides everything you need to make two beer-scented candles. Light snacks will be provided, and beer will be available for purchase. Class fee is $30.
