18-year-old found shot to death in car on Raleigh street

Raleigh police are investigating after a man was found dead inside a car Sunday afternoon.

— Raleigh police are investigating after a man was found dead inside a car Sunday afternoon.

Police said officers responded to a welfare call concerning an unresponsive man inside a car on Edwin Drive at about 1:45 p.m.

Investigators determined that the man, identified as Brandon Khalil Sandy, 18, had died as the result of an apparent gunshot wound.

The death is being investigated as a homicide, police said.

In January, Sandy was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury after a shooting on Hensley Drive in Raleigh.

    It is too bad stuff like this is happening far to often but reading this article it proves the old saying that if you live by the sword, you will die by the sword. Even all the stories you read and all the Hollywood depictions of the violence of the old west does not even compare to how dangerous society is today.
