18-year-old charged with murder in Durham shooting

Ledarius Ramsey Samuel, 18, of Durham was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and four counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon in connection with the incident.

— An 18-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with a Thursday night shooting that left one man dead.

Durham police said officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2500 block of South Roxboro Street just before 8 p.m. Thursday and located a deceased man.

The man was later identified as Felipe Aleman Perez, 42, of Durham. An 18-year-old man was also shot during the incident and taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
