Monday

The Holland Bros. will perform at Irregardless Cafe at 6 p.m.
Prefer to perform? Bluegrass lovers can visit Raleigh's Busy Bee Cafe at 7 pm for the PineCone Bluegrass Jam, and musicians young and old can partake in Open Mic Night at Local 506 in Chapel Hill.

Tuesday

Treat yourself to scotch aged anywhere from 10 to 25 years at the Macallan tasting at The Blind Barbour craft cocktail bar at 7 p.m. A $99 per person ticket includes tax and gratuity, but reservations are required.
Or, you can test your skills and attend Team Trivia Night at The Pinhook at 8:30 p.m.

Wednesday

Watch downtown Raleigh chefs duke it out in a Grilled Cheese Cook-Off at the Raleigh Downtown Farmers Market from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at City Plaza. Watch as chefs put their own spin on the classic grilled cheese, sample each sandwich and vote for your favorite.

There's lots of great music in the Triangle tonight. At 6:30 p.m., Twenty One Pilots will perform at Red Hat Amphitheater. Tickets start at $35.
Dark Water Rising is an Native American group featuring an indie rock/blues sound. Catch them at The Pinhook at 8 p.m. Or, at 9 p.m., visit Cat's Cradle to hear Aesop Rock, a critically-acclaimed hip hop artist. Tickets for the show are $20.
Come and laugh with the "funniest ladies in the Triangle" during the Eyes Up Here comedy show, an comedic group made up entirely of women. Tickets are only $5 for the 8:30 p.m. show at King's Barcade in downtown Raleigh.

Thursday

As part of The Frontier's weekly happy hour, Citizen Schools is hosting an epic Lip Sync Battle in the Research Triangle Park coworking space from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The performance that raises the most on-site votes through donations will be crowned champion.
Fans packed the greenway on a mild summer day during Back Porch Music on the Lawn Series at American Tobacco Campus.
Three, free (say that five times fast) concert series await you Thursday evening. Catch Back Porch Music on the Lawn at Durham's American Tobacco Campus, Pickin' in the Plaza in downtown Raleigh or the Midtown Beach Music Series at North Hills.

All shows start at 6 p.m., and all are 100 percent free.

Friday

"Last Comic Standing" finalist Dominique will perform at Goodnight's Comedy Club in Raleigh Friday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the 18 and older show are $15.
Everyone loves The Sandlot, right? Now you can watch it on a giant, inflatable screen outdoors in downtown Raleigh. Admission is free for the movie, which begins at sundown, but get there early to visit food trucks and grab a beer.
North Carolina State Fair Home Grown Concert series presents Nuv Yug Bollywood at the J.S. Dorton Arena.
Have fun at a DJ-spinning Bollywood Dance Party at the Lincoln Theater in downtown Raleigh at 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 the day of the show.
