17-year-old killed in Goldsboro shooting

A 17-year-old male was shot and killed in Goldsboro on Friday morning, police said.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A 17-year-old male was shot and killed in Goldsboro on Friday morning, police said.

Officers responded around 2:20 a.m. to the 400 block of East Holly St. to a report of shots fired. Responding officers found Montez Lamar Wilson suffering from a gunshot wound.

The officers called EMS, but Wilson was pronounced dead when they arrived.
