17-year-old charged in second Fayetteville break-in spree
A 17-year-old who bonded out of jail last month on charges that he broke into at least 26 homes and vehicles in the Fayetteville area was arrested again Tuesday on charges stemming from a new string of burglaries, authorities said.

Samuel Arthur Bernard Sweeney, of 2621 Diascond Drive, was charged in his latest arrest with one count of breaking and entering, four counts of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, three counts of misdemeanor larceny and four counts of possession of stolen goods.
Authorities said the break-ins occurred May 2-3 on Jacobs Creek Circle and Lambrusco Place, and electronics, purses and other personal items were stolen.
Sweeney was being held Wednesday in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $75,000 bond.
