Monday
It's Trivia Night at King's North Hills, one of the classiest bowling joints in the Triangle. Enjoy dinner, distinct cocktails, bowling and team trivia starting at 7 p.m.
Whether you love to play bluegrass or just want to listen, the PineCone Bluegrass Jam at Busy Bee Cafe in downtown Raleigh is always a blast.
Tuesday
Love wine? You might enjoy Tasty Tuesdays at Wine Authorities, a shop with locations in both Raleigh and Durham. Special tastings and deals will be available Tuesdays from 5 to 7 p.m.
Joe Walsh is an American singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He'll play with special guests JD & the Straight Shot at 7:30 p.m. at Red Hat.
Wednesday
The Raleigh Downtown Farmers Market will celebrate its Honey Buzztival in City Plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. There will be honey on-site and also a special preview of Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week.
The Oak will feature free live music, delicious food and $3 off bourbon flights tonight from 6:30 to 9 p.m. for Live Music Wednesdays. The event repeats every Wednesday.
Ready for a good laugh? It's Comedy Roulette Night at Goodnight's in downtown Raleigh. During this hilarious, interactive event, you decide what goes on on-stage! The audience places topics in a hat and they are picked at random, forcing comedians to create jokes on the fly. The show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are just $5.
Thursday
Searching for live, free outdoor music tonight? Check out these options.
Pickin' in the Plaza runs from 5 to 10:30 p.m. in downtown Raleigh with three bands, food trucks and beer. Then, at 6 p.m., enjoy Backporch Music on the Lawn at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham or the Midtown Beach Music Series at North Hills.
Friday
Watch the film North by Northwest under the stars tonight at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Tickets are $6 for non-members.
Award-winning comedians Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally will perform at DPAC at 8 p.m.
Shop the Urban Vintage Market at Traine in downtown Raleigh from 6 to 9 pm tonight to get a sneak peek at the beautiful handmade and vintage goods that will be on display Saturday.
See the Dixie Chicks at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park tonight at 7 p.m.
Juliette Lewis will impress audiences at Motorco Music Hall in Durham tonight with layers of pop, blues and disco. Tickets start at $16 for the 9 p.m. show.
