11 arrested in Cumberland County prostitution bust
Three women and one man were charged with solicitation of prostitution. Seven additional men were charged with patronizing a prostitute after soliciting undercover officers.

All men were released with the exception of Laquan Wade, 39, who was arrested and taken to the Cumberland County Detention Center on an additional charge of possession of heroin. Wade remains in jail as of Tuesday evening.
The arrests were made as part of a joint operation between the Cumberland County Sherriff’s Office, the Fayetteville Police Department, the Hope Mills Police Department and the Office of Homeland Security. The focus of Friday’s operation, which took place in the Gillespie Street area, was primarily on men who solicit sex from prostitutes in Fayetteville and Cumberland County.

Thomas Farmer, 27, of 1540 S. Eastern Blvd.
Latonya Crew, 36, of 2293 Carbine St.
Marvin Orlando Ramirez, 30, of 312 W. Lionfish Court
Linwood Dixon, 30, of 550 Minor St.
Thomas Douglas, 49, of 506 Grace Ave.
Patrick Locklear, 47, of 3953 Nashville Drive
