Tuesday

Check out The Deslondes, a New Orleans-based country-soul, swamp-boogie band, at Cat's Cradle. Tickets are $10.

Wednesday

Registration opens today for the 2017 Rock 'n' Roll Raleigh Marathon and Half Marathon. A special, limited price is available through Sunday.
Two-time Grammy winning a cappella group Pentatonix plays Red Hat Amphitheater in downtown Raleigh tonight. Tickets start at $35.

The Atomic Rhythm All-Stars play the Hob Nob Jazz Series at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary. Tickets are $5 and children ages 12 years and younger are admitted for free.
In the Bull City, watch the Durham Bulls taken on the Buffalo Bisons and enjoy a variety of cuisine at the Food Truck Fest at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park Lots of your favorite food trucks will be there.

Thursday

Get your tickets for Hopscotch Music Fest VIP and general weekend passes go on sale through the festival's website at 10 a.m.
The Midtown Beach Music Series continues at North Hills. This week Band of Oz plays the free concert in the commons area.

The Back Porch Music on the Lawn series kicks off at American Tobacco Campus tonight with The Old Ceremony. The free show starts at 6 p.m.

Friday

Take a trip to Beertown. This part-civic ceremony, part-theatrical pageant plays Raleigh Little Theater through May 22. Beertown immerses audiences in an unconventional debate around the town's time capsule. Tickets are $22 for adults.

The Carolina Ballet continues its Shakespeare Festival with A Midsummer Night's Dream at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. Shows run through Sunday.

Band Together NC holds its main event at Red Hat Amphitheater. Trampled By Turtles and The Devil Makes Three will headline. Tickets start at $20. Proceeds go to this year's nonprofit partner, Kidznotes.
