10 qualities your mom wants the person you marry to have

Mothers do tend to know best somehow, it’s almost like they have a sixth sense. Maybe it's because moms have been there from the start of your life, and know you better than anyone else. They seek to protect and nurture their child and want the world for their babies. That includes choosing the best qualities for our future spouse.
Here are just a few things mom wants your future partner to be:
This is the number one thing any mother would want her future son or daughter-in-law to be. Someone who at the end of the day will show you respect and treat you tenderly. Someone who will treasure you just as much as mommy does and will give you the attention that you deserve.
They don’t have to have a Ph.D. but hey, it wouldn't hurt! As long as your partner plans on making something of themselves then they will get a mother's stamp of approval. No mother wants their child to marry a couch potato.
I mean this one in all aspects. Mothers want someone in their child's life who will take care of themselves, their children, their spouse and their home. Your mom wants your future spouse to be someone who looks nice, does chores and keeps your home in tip-top shape.
Finding someone who can put you before them is what mom is hoping for. Someone that has manners, is sweet and also knows how to present themselves in front of others is a winner in your mom's eyes.
They don’t need to be a comedian but a person who has a sense of humor is a person that is sure to capture your mother's heart. Someone that can make your mother constantly smile and laugh is perfect. Showing your mom how fun your other half is and how happy they make you can wash anyway any doubts that may be in her mind.
Don’t choose a partner who can't open up to your family. Yes, while he can tell you anything, you wouldn't want your mom thinking he is keeping secrets because he can't open up with the family. Mothers want you to marry someone who will be direct and honest with you (and with her).
I hope that you want to marry someone who is understanding because your mom knows you can be difficult and hard to handle at times. She just wants someone who will put up with it because they love you so much. Moms want you to find someone who will understand your perspective even when it does not make sense.
You are the most precious thing to your mother; she wants a partner for you that will see that. A person who will value each memory made with you, someone who remembers what your first kiss felt like, and has an endless list of all the reasons why they love you. Mom wants a person that will treasure your worth and make your marriage a priority.
Your mother is your biggest fan but she's willing to share that responsibility. Marry the person who adores you as much as mom does.
Mom wants a person who will work hard to sustain your family. She wants your wife to work hard raising a family. She wants your husband to be hardworking and caring. She wants the both of you to accomplish your goals.
Learning how to look for these qualities is crucial when looking for a spouse; you want your mother to love and approve of your life long love!
