RALEIGH, N.C. — One man was killed Sunday evening in a single-vehicle wreck in Raleigh.

Raleigh police responded to the crash involving a motorcycle on Western Boulevard just before 6:40 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle, Peter Traylor, 49, of Cary, was killed in the crash.

Traylor was wearing a helmet, police said, but he was completely ejected from the motorcycle when it struck the curb and hit a tree.
