LOUISBURG, N.C. — Three people were killed on Saturday in a shooting at a home in Louisburg, officials said.

The three people were shot at a residence at 119 Harris Road shortly after noon, according to Franklin County Sheriff Kent Winstead.

One of the people killed was 36-year-old Keisha Livingston, according to a woman who identified herself as Livingston's mother. Livingston had two children of her own.

Dinah Williams, who raised Livingston, said she received the news at work.

"My supervisor came out to the car and got me and told me to come answer the phone," Williams said. "I went and answered the phone and they told me she had been killed."

Officials said Shamare Malik Harris, 18, of 2164 Kinsey Street in La Grange, was also pronounced dead at the scene. The third victim, Diana Marie Edgerton, 23, of 1049 Fuller Road in Louisburg, was transported to WakeMed in Raleigh where she later succumbed to her injuries.

"She [Livingston] hadn't done nothing where she deserved to die," Williams said.

Winstead said a fourth person survived the shooting and was able to provide police with a suspect.

"We didn't know that this was going to hit home," said Livingston's aunt, Katie Armstrong. "This is something you see on television, something you report on from New York; this is my hometown."

No arrests have been made in the case. Officials said the investigation is ongoing.
