Class Descriptions

This year’s class schedule includes BODYCOMBAT™, BODYFLOW™, Bootcamp, CXWORX™, INSANITY®, Piyo, Total Body Conditioning, Yoga and Zumba.

The CXWORX™ class hones into the muscles that connect the upper body to the lower body and is perfect for tightening and toning the tummy and butt, while also improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention. The class will end with exploring deep stretching, increasing flexibility and releasing tension during Yoga.

Piyo combines the muscle sculpting benefits of Pilates and with the strength and flexibility training of Yoga.

While the series will take place at City Plaza, the nearest O2 Fitness club is located just down the street at Seaboard Station. The Triangle is home to a total of 12 O2 Fitness locations.

In addition to free outdoor classes, participants can take advantage of a 10 percent discount on a refreshing treat or meal from O2 Fitness’ partner Happy + Hale, Downtown Raleigh’s popular fresh juice and salad restaurant and delivery service, after each workout. Also, new this year thanks to requests from past participants, Shape Up Downtown will be selling T-shirts featuring the Downtown Raleigh Skyline.

See the O2 Fitness website for more details.
