jdouglas13: Thanks for the info. I will try chicken broth and an onion next time.

ncveteranswife, let me preface my two cents by saying I am NOT a slow cooker pro. But, I'm wondering if your BBQ sauce was too thick or if it had a high sugar or molasses content. Any of those could make it burn. I'm wondering if you watered it down a bit, maybe even added chicken broth and an onion, if it would help keep it moister and less likely to burn. You could always add more BBQ sauce at the end to boost the flavor of the sauce.

Hopefully, someone here more slow-cooker experienced will jump in with a more educated response!

    Careless whisper,
I've done chicken taco's in the crock pot. Amazing!!!I put a pound of chicken breast in there and pour one can of enchilada sauce, 1 can rotel tomatoes, a little taco seasoning and a squirt of lime juice. Cook all day and when I get home from work its basically already shredded apart.

Has anyone made BBQ chicken breast in the crockpot? I made this for dinner for tonight, but the chicken burnt :( I put the chicken breast with BBQ sauce and cooked it on low, but not sure what happened...any ideas or suggestions for me? I am off to the kitchen to fix something else now.

Tonight will be simple spaghetti and meatballs with rolls.

On a side note, has anyone ever made tacos in the crockpot? I found a recipe that I want to try. It sounds almost too simple. Beef or chicken, spices (chili power, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper), tomatoes, all in the crockpot for 5 hours.

Faye- that quiche sounds fantastic! I recently did an estimate of how many quiche I've made since my B&B days and it was right around 3120. And I still don't get tired of them :-)

Thanks Faye and RFB on your help with wonton wrappers on Monday's WFD.

Everyone's dinner is sounding yummy! Tonight might be pasta carbonara with roasted asparagus to use up a bunch of egg yolks. The pasta, parm, eggs, and bacon are all from previous HT sales, and the asparagus is from the sale ending today at Lowes.
