'Wayne's World' celebrates 25 years with special screenings

And that makes me feel old ...

Wayne's world's 25th anniversary

So this made me feel really old ...

Wayne's World, that zany movie starring Mike Myers and Dana Carvey, was released 25 years ago - Feb. 14, 1992. To celebrate this momentous occasion, theaters across the country will screen the movie on Feb. 7 and Feb. 8, including some in Durham, Raleigh, Morrisville and Fayetteville.

You'll get to "party on," as they might say, during the special events, which include an introduction by film critic Peter Travers of Rolling Stone Magazine and ABC-TV and a videotaped chat with the director and cast members of the film.

The movie is rated PG-13, so maybe don't take your seven-year-old for a walk down memory lane. But it might be something to drag your teen to. (Check the Common Sense Media review before you go).
The official Wayne's World 25th anniversary site has more information and theater details.
