Henderson County, N.C. — Actress Kelly McGillis, most known for her leading role in 1986's "Top Gun," was attacked last week at her Henderson County home, according to a series of Facebook posts.
In the post written by the actress the next day, McGillis wrote that she arrived home around 9 p.m. June 17 after attending a lecture by theologian Robin Meyers.
Before going inside, McGillis walked around her property, collecting bird feeders to discourage any bears. When she arrived at the front door and inserted her key into the lock, she found her home was already unlocked.
