'Prairie Home Companion' coming to DPAC

The acclaimed radio variety show "A Prairie Home Companion" will air from the Durham Performing Arts Center in May.

DURHAM, N.C. — The acclaimed public radio variety show "A Prairie Home Companion" will air from the Durham Performing Arts Center in May.

The live show, which airs locally each Saturday at 6 p.m. on WUNC-FM, is hosted by humorist Garrison Keillor and features music, comedy sketches and Keillor's weekly monologue on the happenings in the fictional town of Lake Wobegon, Minn.

The show will air from the DPAC on May 9. Tickets go on sale March 2 and are priced from $25 to $65.
