Police: Man approached teenage boy along Fayetteville road

— Fayetteville police are searching for a man who approached a teenage boy Tuesday evening in the area of Seventy-First School Road and Media Drive.

Police said a 13-year-old boy was walking down Media Drive at about 6:45 p.m. when the man stopped, got out of his vehicle, and yelled “get over here.”

The boy ran home and told his parent, who contacted police, about the incident.

The man is described as being black, thin and about 25-35 years old. He has a thin build, long dreadlocks and is about 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall, police said.

Authorities said the man was wearing a white and grey shirt and dark pants and drove a black SUV.
