'Outdoor kind of weekend:' Cool, dry weather before warm week
Below-normal temperatures will settle into Raleigh over the weekend as strong winds from the north blow through.

"Temperatures are dipping, and some could see a freeze with the frost advisory that's been issued in the Triangle north and west," WRAL meteorologist Mike Maze said. "But there will be a lot of sunshine this weekend."
Saturday will mimic Friday's temperatures, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 30s.
Expect mostly sunny skies and a light breeze.
With plenty of sunshine, it will be a great day for time outdoors.
"Looking pretty bright for us for Saturday and Sunday as (a) high pressure system moves right on in to the area," WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner said.
Temperatures will stay warm through next week as highs climb consistently into the 70s.
Monday and Tuesday temperatures should stay dry and mild, with a change of thunderstorms on Wednesday.
"Notice our precipitation graph," Maze said. "The only chance of precipitation is on Wednesday with a front trying to come in."
"Overall, it's an outdoor kind of weekend."
