Disney's The Little Mermaid stops at the Durham Performing Arts Center for shows Tuesday through Sunday.

Here's a description of this popular Broadway show: "In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories, with music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, it’s a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. Come fall in love with the magic for the first time—or all over again with classics such as “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl, “Part of Your World” and more!"

Just a handful of tickets remain for most of the shows - except the 1 p.m., Thursday, show when you'll still find more than a few tickets available starting at $30. So, if you're tracked out, home school or otherwise have some time for a Broadway show on a Thursday afternoon, here's your chance!

DPAC's website has the details. Children under the age of 5 are not allowed at this performance. All guests must have a ticket, regardless of their age.
