It's a story that touched hearts around the world. Two area judges celebrated a rare bond in Milwaukee. One year ago Brookfield Judge JoAnn Eiring donated her kidney to Milwaukee Judge Derek Mosley, saving his life.
"Just to see him back to the job he's been in is awesome. Medical science is amazing. It's just a great feeling to help my friend," said JoAnn Eiring.
The celebration in Milwaukee was not only for them but also to honor the medical professionals who helped with the transplant and to put out the word about the need for organ donors.
