The N.C. Symphony will perform Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in Concert on Sept. 15 at the Duke Energy Center for Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh.

The concert is part of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series, which features the live symphony orchestra performing, to picture, every note from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, according to a press release. Audiences will watch the movie on a 40-foot screen as they hear the symphony play the movie's musical score live.

Tickets start at $25 and will go on sale at noon, May 12.

CineConcerts and Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced the Harry Potter Film Concert Series, a new global concert tour celebrating the Harry Potter films, early last year, the press release says. It's scheduled to include hundreds of performances across more than 35 countries through 2018.
