'Book of Mormon' cancels pre-show ticket lotteries
To help accommodate ticket holders who missed the show due to the weather earlier this week, "The Book of Mormon" has suspended its pre-show ticket lotteries.
Posted — UpdatedMost touring Broadway shows have a policy not to cancel due to local road conditions or inclement weather. That left many who held tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday nights out of luck. No refunds were available, and with the show nearly sold out for the rest of the run, it wasn't possible just to swap out tickets for another night.
The DPAC is trying to make things right.
The venue announced on Friday that pre-show ticket lotteries would be canceled for the remainder of the show's run in an effort to accommodate those folks affected by the weather.
