'Armed, dangerous' Roanoke Rapids man wanted in shooting

The Halifax County Sheriff's Office is looking for Dudley Lamar Kee, 24, in connection with a shooting that happened on Highway 48 in Roanoke Rapids on Nov. 12.

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. — The Halifax County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that deputies were looking for Dudley Lamar Kee, 24, in connection with a shooting that happened on N.C. Highway 48 in Roanoke Rapids on Wednesday.

Kee is from the Roanoke Rapids area. He is a light-skinned, black man, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 260 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a close hair cut.

He is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Kee is considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.
